In front of Praça Tiradentes is the City Hall building, where the sessions of the councilors of Teófilo Otoni are held.
The place functioned as the first forum of the municipality, and was built in 1896 by the Italian Carlos Tórino. Inside, there is a stone staircase built by slaves. The ceiling and chandeliers are original from the time. The place has an elevator for people with special needs.
